Vistaprint Coscard Review

Hey everyone! This is my first official blog post as well as my first review ever! With that being said please bare with me as I am super new to this! (And please excuse my OK phone pictures, I'm waiting on my new camera in the mail..)

I tried to make a professional set up, lol
This has been my first experience ever purchasing cosplay cards. The last two designs I made I had printed out myself. I was getting pretty tired of the flimsy "card", so I decided it was finally time to invest some of my money into some well-made, professional cards.
My original intention was to order 250, two-sided, full color, glossy, business cards. As I went through the logo creator and uploaded my photos I was told a full color back would be an additional $8.00. Ok, that's fine. I was already putting the time and money into it I might as well just stick with what I had planned. 250 cards with the color back and standard gloss game to $31 plus shipping. As I went to check out I suddenly had a "special offer" pop up. It asked me if I would like to get 500 cards at half the price. Of course I do! As I selected that option I was now able to get the Signature Glossy finish for free. Of course I switched to that as well.
After this my item total was now only $33! (and soon an additional $10 in shipping..)
I chose Economy shipping and it arrived in 10 days, which is pretty good.

They sent two discount codes for different things. One for 20% your next order, and another discount code for buying bulk of other products that are not cards.

This picture is pretty unflattering to the actual card because of poor lighting, but the image quality is just really great. When I made my own cards I had a hard time getting a high resolution print on a standard printer. The photo quality really pulled through on the cards.

I did have a slight misprint on the bottom of my cards, which I know is related to my actual design. It doesnt bother me much because its so minor but its something to look out for if your using your own files. Make sure your edges go WAY past the registration points. You really need a huge safety zone for these cards just in case.

Not High-gloss..lmao
This is a comparison of the Standard Glossy and Signature Glossy (Thank you mom for having vistaprint cards). I definitely noticed that the Signature Glossy gives the card some extra support and thickness. It looks much more professional and less printer-like(??). The Standard Glossy seems more similar to the cards I was making myself with card-stock. Really just a basic business card! The Signature Glossy makes the print and whole image just stick out a lot more in my opinion.

OVERALL:

Shipping: 4/5
I'm giving a 4/5 only because I thought $10 shipping was a bit much for economy. The shipping time was really quick and reasonable especially because they are a made-to-order item.

Quality: 5/5
If I could give this more stars I would. These cards are so nice and professional I could poop. I know a lot of people get worried with using actual photos on cards. They shouldn't be worried anymore because this photo quality came out SO GOOD.

Customer Service:
???
I had no issues and did not have an opportunity to contact customer service.

Overall I completely recommend Vistaprint for ordering any type of business card need, and it definitely works well for coscards if your looking to get more recognition.
